Uploading your website
You can upload your website files in two ways:
Option 1: File Manager (easiest, no extra software)
- Log in to cPanel
- Open File Manager
- Navigate to
public_html - Click Upload and select your files
- If you uploaded a
.zipfile, right-click it and select Extract
Option 2: FTP
- Use an FTP client such as FileZilla
- Host:
ftp.yourdomain.com - Username/Password: your cPanel login details
- Port: 21
- Upload files into the
public_htmlfolder
Your homepage file should be named
index.htmlorindex.phpand placed directly insidepublic_html(not in a subfolder), otherwise visitors won't see it automatically.
